The Principal Writes To those who went off to far flung places and to those of you who stayed in Shanghai during Chinese New Year, welcome back! I hope you and your families are duly rested and ready for the second half of this busy spring term. There has been no slowing in pace this week with two excellent evening presentations to secondary parents about our work experience programme and IBO programme and teaching team for the academic year 2010-11. These information evenings were very well received by those who attended who were mainly parents from the relevant year groups. We were also treated this week to some superb ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ performances on Thursday at the Primary school - well done to all the Keystage 2 children involved for working so hard to entertain us. On Tuesday morning at the Principal’s Morning Tea we enjoyed a presentation from Dr Shari Rosen, Director of Special Education Consulting who spoke about the testing of and support for children with learning differences. The session with Dr Shari Rosen was very interesting, entertaining and thought provoking. The attendance for this event was a little sparse but those who attended found it a very worthwhile experience. Read more in the online edition of the school newsletter...
