King's College Visit

On Thursday 14 April, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities from the UK visited our Year 12 students.

King’s College London is one of the top 25 universities in the world (2010 QS international world rankings), and the fourth oldest in England.

Students found out about the range of courses available at King’s College London and what to expect if they chose to study there. It has a particularly distinguished reputation in the humanities, law, the sciences (including a wide range of health areas such as psychiatry, medicine, nursing and dentistry) and social sciences including international affairs.

Year 12 students who wish to apply to King’s College London and other UK universities will complete their online UCAS application with the support of school during the first term of Year 13.  However, all of our Year 12 students, including those applying to countries other than the UK, should already be well underway with their research and preparation for their university applications.  All Year 12 students have all received an information brochure with details of worldwide university application systems. Students have also attended a number of information sessions and assemblies this term with more detailed information about applying to university. These sessions will continue next year to guide all of our students through the application process.
